Pages, photographs and fonts are delivered by our website host. Hosting services may process technical information such as your IP address, requested page and browser details to deliver and operate the website.

Search runs in your browser. Your search words appear in the page address, so they may also appear in browser history and hosting request logs. Avoid entering private or sensitive information into search.

Guided help

You do not need an account. Guided-help answers stay in the current page and are not submitted to Little Beaks or saved by the guide. If you choose to copy, download or share guidance, the app or service you use handles that action.

Contact form

The form sends your email address, enquiry type, message and optional name directly to Web3Forms when you submit it. Depending on your enquiry, you can also choose to provide a page link or title, device or assistive technology details, bird species, suburb and state, or the date a bird was lost or found. Only fields relevant to your current selection are submitted. Little Beaks uses these details to handle your enquiry. Web3Forms processes and stores submissions and delivers notification emails; our email provider also processes those emails.

Web3Forms may process information outside Australia and use your email and IP address for spam checks. Its published policy allows submission retention for up to three years, unless a shorter period applies or records are deleted earlier. Read the Web3Forms privacy policy.

This website does not save form drafts in browser storage. Avoid sensitive information and other people’s personal details. You can email us instead or contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information you supplied.

Email enquiries

Email links open your email app; they do not send a message automatically. If you email us, we receive your address and the information you include. We use that information to handle your enquiry. Email is also processed by the email providers involved.

Contact info@littlebeaks.org with a privacy question or a request to access, correct or delete information you have supplied. Include enough detail to identify your request, without sending unnecessary sensitive information.

Other services and earlier subscriptions

This version of the website has no newsletter signup or payment form. The site code does not include Google Analytics. Links to external websites take you to services with their own privacy practices.

If you previously subscribed or supplied information through an earlier Little Beaks website, contact us about that information. This page does not mean those earlier records have been deleted.
